My husband has an old Murray/Tecumseh push mower that has "shed" its pull cord. Does anyone know how to replace the cord? He needs specific instructions on how to repair his mower.

If you don't feel like sealing with it just take the pull rope off and drop it off at a lawn mower shop. About $15 and a day or so, you'll have a new rope installed.
