    How much should I lose?
I'm 23 yrs old, was on pills for 8 months and just stopped then in order to try and conceive after having at least 2 normal periods, Im 163 cm height and I was 89 Kgs but managed to lose 8 kgs till now,I got to the gym 2-3 times a week and I've been on a stricked diet, the thing is I don't feel that I'm so over weight I don't have any medical problems , I'm active, and I eat healthy food and don't look like I weight that much! I'm planning to lose more, but my question is how much more should I lose before trying to get pregnant?

If you are healthy, active, and happy with your weight. Don't lose any. You're just going to gain it back once the baby starts to develop. Focus on your wish to conceive right now, and the romance and closeness it brings to your relationship. Besides you can always start yoga now and do it through your pregnancy. It'll help you become more limber and help keep your weight just baby weight. Hope this helps.

Thanks , your probably right to be honest, its just that I've been doing a lot for reading and I got really scared about getting pregnant when I weight this much! U know high blood pressure ,Gestational diabetes,Problems with breastfeeding, and that I've got less chances of getting pregnant so all of these stuff just put me off :(

I just actually did the conversion from kg to lbs. You are a tad overweight. Sorry to be so blunt. Have you consulted your physician about this?

It wouldn't hurt, and can help, to continue on your weight loss program. You could lose another 13 kg or so and be closer to an average weight for your height. Obviously much will depend on your build, how active you remain, etc..
You are correct in that being overweight going into pregnancy can increase the possibility of some health concerns.
Always best, when possible, to be in the best condition possible when trying to become pregnant... it can help to insure a healthier pregnancy.
