In the mid 80's I would always rent a cartoon movie that was similar to scooby doo. It was a group of kids and a dog that were solving some kind of mystery. I can not think of the name of it though. Does anyone have any idea?

The funky phantom?

No it wasn't the Funky Phantom... I never remember seeing it on television. I can just remember that the dog was really lanky and so was the character similair to shaggy. If I remember right either the dog or the other guy wore a toboggan or a beanie. Thanks
