I have a 2000 Honda Civic DX that won't start. The starter checks out on the test bench but when you turn the key to start the car everything goes dead. Dome light goes out, dash goes out etc. I thought there was a dead short in the starter but... it checks out.
When I try to start it and everything dies it takes 15 seconds or more for the lights to come back on.
It is a standard and will push start and run fine.
