Okay. What is the likelihood I could still be pregnant and it is worthwhile buying a test this week?

Time to combine the threads.

In the meantime - where is all this anxiety coming from? One minute you're all excited about a tattoo; next minute it's back to the pregnancy question. What is going on?

Oh thank you. I wasn't sure exactly what she meant... I was a bit concerned!

I took it either of two ways:
Morning after pill 39 (?) hours later

Took the morning after pill for the 39th time but don't know how many hours later

Or

Took the morning after pill 39 some odd hours later!

Pregnancy possible... not likely... wait until your next period would be due and try a test at that time if it doesn't show.

I'm going to take a minute to get up on my soapbox...

You KNEW you were going to have sex. You posted on 5/2 that you were "goin to take it further with a person [you] like." Then on 5/3, you started asking about the "morning after pill" because you didn't use protection.

This was not accidental, caught-up-in-the-moment sex. You planned to have sex and you neglected to use protection. It wasn't spur of the moment; you knew you were going to do it and made a very stupid decision.

Until you can learn to be more responsible, you should keep your pants on.
