I have a friend who recently got cancer and got surgery to remove it. The docters said it went away, but he recently took a trip down to kentuky with his family. Now mom is acting really strange and not telling me anything about their trip. I can't get ahold of him, and he hasn't been in school. I don't think he would hide this from me, but I think his mom might not let himm tell me. Im worried and anxious and I really need advice.

How old are you? Unless you are very young I don't know why your mother would hide the truth from you -

13, and so yes I can see why she would want to protect me but that might only be delaying me finding out.

Have you just straight out said that you think she's avoiding the subject - and why is she doing that?

Thanks for the advice! It turns out she didn't know why he wasn't in school or why he had been sick. The reason she had been acting so strange was financial problems. Thanks again!

My opinion is that I think the doctor hasn't removed it and he's still got cancer, And your mom doesn't want to tell you because its probely going upset you very much because he might die! But don't worrie I might be wrong
