My Step daughter won't stop crying when we're alone
    Please Help!!

I am with my man almost a year now, and right from the start have spent his two days off which is when he sees his 2 year old with them. We have always got on great and now live together (since Nov) the little girl stays with us 2 nights now, and me and her spend time together and then the 3 of us as a family. I love her very dearly and have potty trained her myself and have set down rules which she abides to for my house. I am the only person she doesn't have toilet accidents with. She had a pee in her pants last week when with her aunt for an hour before coming back to me, Her aunt says she looked scared and begged they not tell me. They think she is afraid of me but this I do not understand, nor believe

But whenever daddy goes to work and we are alone she tends to cry a lot. If her mother phones she cries even if we have had great fun all day and was in great form before the phone call. I really don't know what to do about her crying as I am now nearing the stage where I don't want to be with her anymore cause I feel as if she doesn't like me.

I don't know what to do. Please please help. This is my future on the line

You need to take a deep breath and realise that she is 2 years old, with a great deal of stress in her life at this moment. She doesn't HATE you. You can't take things like this personally. She isn't doing it on purpose just to make you miserable. She is simply upset and confused about everything that has happened to her.

*hugs* it will get better with time. You can't expect it all to be fun and cherrios over so short amount of time.

    Good luck hon
