After EJECT how to reconnect the USB drive without Manual intervention?
    Hi,

I want to know is it possible that once you have ejected the USB Drive and then reconnect it without removing and reinserting it.
Will it be possible to do it instantly?
One more thing I want to know is that
Suppose that your desktop system is a server. Will it be possible that users are prohibited to access only your USB drive but allowed other USB/Pen drives?

    Thanks:D

You can reinstall the usb device, but it would just be easier to unplug and replug it in. If you want to try this... it might work.

Right click on My Computer and go to Properties.

    Hardware Tab

    Device Manager

    Highlight your computer

Click Action and Scan For Hardware Changes

As for your file sharing question you can set it up like that. Follow these instructions for sharing the files
How to configure file sharing in Windows XP

Then check here to make sure nothing else is being shared.
    Right click My Computer
    Manage
    Share Folders
