Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me since I do not know what to do anymore. I live with my family in house we bought few years ago from guy that said he was moving away because he lived next to sick people.
We are immigrants and never dealt with issues like that before so we did not take him too serious. Well we should have.

The people next to us are two very angry and hateful individuals that hate foreigners. They told us right away that we are stupid Bulgarians and to go back where we came from. Then they called cops on our dogs few times for barking longer than 1 minute at a time. Then later it advanced into their heads sticking over the fence and looking at us in our back yard, checking what's not in order to call city and complain. They also reported us for parking car on the street facing in the wrong direction, our bush in the front being too tall. We decided to build a fence between them all the way down to the street. They were so mad about that they wanted to beat us up when they saw that but we showed them the permit and told them to call the cops so they were screaming and yelling and just went to look for more things to report us about.

Then city started coming to our door with anonymous reports - I guess they did not want to use their names anymore because cops would always tell us it was them.

Now the most recent thing is.. they called cops and said how our dogs poop in their frontyard. I always walk my dogs and we just pass their property and not even stop there. They are now lying about stuff too! Also, they don't let us walk in front of their property at all. They keep listening to our door and they wait to see us walk out and they immediately turn on their sprinkler system full force to get us wet. Every time when we get out regardless of time. (never same time we tried to switch the time)

He also built a shed in his backyard that is very high and his window is looking at out backyard. So lately he has been sitting in his shed and looking at our backyard and just in general spy on whatever we are doing.

How can someone do these things and get away with everything? Is there anything at all that I can do to have these two psychos leave us alone??

Build a larger fence ? But basically if you live a normal life there is nothing to report, So what if they report ? Tell the cops sorry it was not you, ask them if they have any proof to anything and nicely ask the police officer to leave.

You are not obligated to show the officers or talk to the officers,


Get the neighbors on tape saying they hate you for your nationality and that they are doing this because of that, great grounds for a law suit.

But in the end, ignore them, or have real fun, stage some real gross event for them to "see" and of course nothing be true when police show up.

I may be Miss Helpful, but you've got a big problem there. I think you should find something illegal that they are doing and report them for it. I just watched in the news and saw how this guy got charged $150 for a Netflix envelope that had his name on it being in the street. In Texas, it is illegal to litter. But I don't know if it is wherever you live. You can get charged for littering even if it just flew out of the dumpster if it has your name on it. So either do that, or move.

Go buy some cheap video cameras and some bright lights and a constant loop recorder. Put them on a motion detector and aim them at your neighbor...

That should stop them... If it doesn't, you've got a record of what they are doing.

Filing reports on them is not going to work, plus is annoys the authorities. Go to an Attorney, have an Attorney write them a letter telling them to leave you alone. If that doesn't work, proceed to a lawsuit.
