I've found it hard to open a bank account (free checking) with poor credit.. wachovias website said my account was approved but from past experiences I know it takes 24 hours to get approved because your information has to be reviewed. im just wondering if anyone else knows if wachovia is leinient.. the customer service rep said they are more forgiving than other banks.. thanks!

Normally in person, talking the issues over with a live person works best.
Next small local banks where they willl work with the person
