    Fuel Filter for WHITE FST-15
    We have a White FST-15 riding mower that we need a fuel filter replaced.

    Engine info:
    Briggs/Stration Vanguard 14HP model 261777
    Type 014501
    Code 93050733

    Cruisematic drive 8sp with 42 inch deck

    I just need pointed in the right direction... I'm female so you can take pitty on me :)

    Hear is the parts manual and I included the operator manual also.

    A generic in line fuel filter works fine also. Can cut the gas line and use many diff types of filters and can see if its dirty easily.

    Yep, a generic filter should work fine. It may have an arrow for the direction of fuel flow. Any lawn mower repair place should stock these.

    It's available from the above source and it just pulls out of the gas line. There may be clamps that either need to be loosened or usually spread open with a pair of pliers by gripping the ears of the clip.

    It's more like grip, spread, move away from filter, install filter end, move back.

    You may have a fuel valve or you'll have to empty the tank from one of the ends of the filter.
