Het Loss from Hot Water Tanks
Ihave heard when installing a new water tank gas or electric, on the hot water exit from the tank you can install what is called a ECO LOOP this is aloop using four right anngle copper elbows and about five inches of copper pipe forming a loop. This is suppose to save the hot water from escaping into the house plumbing. Is this the same as using Heat Saver Nipples? Thanks

Yes, they serve the same purpose. Nipples are easier, as you don't need to repipe.
