Water slow to turn off - PLUS low water pressure.
My husband took apart the 1/4 bath to strip wallpaper and paint. During that time we had a leak to our downstairs ceiling (he must not have turned the valve completely off for the toilet). Got that all taken care of. So, he puts the bathroom back together and now the faucet not only had low water pressure... but it is also slow to turn off when you turn the handle. Suggestions?

Hubby must have dislodged some mineral built up on the pipe walls and now it's clogging the anglestop, (see image).
Shut the water off to the house and take the angle stop apart. Check and clear the seat. Now hold a pan over the pipe and turn the water back on for a moment to flush out the supply. Reassemble and test. Better now? Good luck, Tom

So... this would cause both the low water pressure AND the delay to turn the water turn off? Just checking!:)

Sorry to bother you again... but as I'm looking at your diagram, it's for the toilet. Am I assuming correctly that there should be something similar looking for the faucet? (just want to be sure I give him all the information necessary). Thanks again!

The valves are the same. Just clear out the blockage and you';ll be fine. Tom
