I have a 1994 f150/ with dual tanks, not only is my front tank not working, the rear tank is filling my front one. How can I by pass the front tank and stop the rear one from filling the front one? Thank you for your time

What you have is a solenoid valve that switches the tanks, and the gage to reflect the fuel level of the tank you are using. It sounds to me like that selector valve is defective. I would suggest a trip to the dealers parts department and see how much it costs to get a new valve and either replace it yourself or pay them to do it.
450donn is exactly correct! Replace the valve and you are good to go
