I live in Florida and have a yard sprinkler system with an above-ground Sta Rite pump with pressure tank. The pump only runs for 30-45 minutes then automatically shuts off. There seems to be ample ground water, as all my surrounding neighbors water for hours. Any suggestions?

Tell me more about your sprinkler system. Is there a pressure control box involved? Could the pump be pumping up to a cut-off pressure and cutting off? Is the motor overheating and the overload switch shuts it down? How long does the pump stay off before it starts again? Back to you, Tom
