Large hematomas between skin and abdominal wall about 1/2 gallon.
Can this be removed or will it dissipate on its own.
How dangerous is it.
The bleeding was from a hernia operation several months ago.

This condition is not to be taken lightly. Suggest you contact your original surgeon and report this condition to him immediately and then get an office appointment to be examined as soon as possible. That much trapped blood can only be detrimental to your overall health.
