When I was 3 years old, my now estranged father sent me a doll from Germany for Christmas. She is a talking doll, (the string has worn out many years ago) and we think she was a Heidi doll. When her string still worked, she spoke in German. I could almost swear she came in a Mattel box. On the back of her neck, the word "Ratti" is stamped. I have searched in vain for many years to identify this doll for insurance purposes. I have never found a picture of another doll that looked anything like her. Any clue as to her origin would be greatly appreciated. I am attaching a photo of her. Thanks in advance for any information that anyone may have.
