I have been taking the birth control pill Cerazette for about 6 months now without missing a day. The other week I missed taking the pill one day. I resumed taking the pill within 36 hours of the missed pill (i.e. I only missed 1 day, 1 pill). I was abstinent for the next 5 days, while taking the pill, but on the fifth night, I had sex. I then noticed the packet says that after missing a pill, one should use additional contraception for the next seven days of pill taking. I want to know what are the chances I got pregnant by having sex on the fifth day of pill taking, after missing one day (five days earlier) and not using any additional method of contraception.
