I just started a cleaning business to clean offices and homes, but do not know how to charge for the work I will be doing.

From your experience working for other similar firms you estimate how long it takes you to do these jobs, you figure the amount of money you need, you figure your tax rate to be paid, and figure your profit needed

I agree with fr_chuck

You just make a note of your experience,economic need to maintain your business apart from that you need profit too right?
So just make a calculation as a note and finalise that charge which satisfies your needs
