Bathroom Vent/Light Combo Wiring with previous fan only having black, white, ground
I need to know please whether I can run the white fan wire and the white light wire to the same white hardwire, and if I can run the black fan wire and the blue light wire to the black hardwire?

I do not mind if the light and fan come on at the same time, my only concern is if I can feed two wires to one hard wire source? I am not sure if there is overload issues?

I purchased the bathroom/light combo at Lowe's for $38 if that helps anyone who may know the model.

    Thank you again

    Yes, you can.

donf is correct (below). I probably jumped the gun a bit. I assumed you were replacing an old fan with a new one -- and using the same switch and box.

Wait a minute. Be very careful here. Are you doing a new install or is this a old work box you are connecting to.

Also, where are you getting the power from. Is it coming from the switch or is it coming from an a power source already in the ceiling?

Are the fan and light controlled by a switch on the wall?

If so, you have to account for a switch loop.
