Got an old sony TV. We got it all hooked up for a Xbox 360 lan party with other tvs. The Xbox is on but now this TV is making a cliking sound and telling us to stand by/ timer. It won't turn on. Anybody know why and can tell me how to make it work? Asap. Please. Thanks

The clicking sound is a bad sign. Usually some overload circuit (relay?) operating because there's a short-circuit somewhere, most commonly the horizontal output transistor.

A job for a technician, if you think the set's worth it.
