There is an old junker in a field. It is pieces only there is the front end with big chrome headlights, few other big pieces. There is only a plate on it with the year and other numbers that don't say specifically say model etc. The most significant number on the plate other than the year with is 1956 and it is green is 173C
Curious as I know things like the headlights, bumper and other chrome items are worth something to someone but need to identify make and model in order to put on internet.
I appreciate any help you can give me I can get all the numbers off the plate if you think this would help to identify it.

Thanks for quick reply went to profile page but still not sure. When I reply did you get an email telling you this. Did both of you know that I replied or just yourself.

I don't know if it is still legible or not but I am sure you already knew this, but if you look on the inside of your door where it closes at, there is a sticker with the manufacuring information.

It should say the date on there.
If it is any of the first 7 months of the year it is that currently that year. If it is the eight month or more than it will be the next year.

For example, if a car said it was made August of 2000. The car is actually a 2001, and will be that way.

If it was made in March of 2000, then the car is still a 2000.

Does that make any since?
