Is this a Violation of Probation in Alexandria Virginia
    I have a question.
I have been on probation for almost 3 years. In 2 months my probation is over with.
Recently I was evicted, and am homeless looking for a shelter. The job I did recently have was working for an employee at Starbucks "under the table" cleaning and trash duties only
Since my crime before was money laundering I am not allowed to have any financial responsibly. I had reported the income on my monthly report and my Probation officer tried to verify with Starbucks (even though I marked the box on the report that they did not know my criminal offense) to refer me to a Shelter, since most shelters in this area were full (I called them all) Obviously they cannot verify it. Is this a violation of my probation?

    Thanks

Which part are you asking about being a violation. You need to know every part of your probation agreement.

If part of your probation is to hold a steady job and your job cannot be verified, yes you are in violation.

Yes, what are the terms of your probation, it appears you are reporting everything just like you are doing.

Working under the table is not really "legal" unless you call it self employment and you are a contractor doing janitor service.

But if you are reporting the income, and not lying the issue is they can not confirm it.

So you may have to show them proof, statement of payment or a witness and so on.
