I have lost a baby in Sep 08, and as per my gyne it was because me and my husbands chromosones clashed (what does this mean), as a result of us having the same bloog group B Negative, we have been trying to fall pregnant ever since and nothing has happened. Please could you try and explain to me what the procedure will be for us to follow to have a healthy pregnancy soon. And what the medical procedures will be regarding our blood gourp problem. I ask this as my Gyne did not give me a very clear explination of what actually happened in our case and I would like to fully understand so that we can have a little baby of our own.:confused:

If both you and your husband are B-negative, the baby will also have RH-negative blood (it will either be B-negative or O-negative, depending on your and your husband's genetic makeup). Are you sure that you and your problem are both B-negative?

The most common problem is that the mother is RH-negative (doesn't have the RH factor) and the baby is RH-positive (has the RH factor). This can only occur if the father is RH-positive (he could be A+, B+, AB+, or O+). If some of the baby's blood gets into the mother's blood stream, the mother develops antibodies to the RH antigen. This means that the mother's body can actually attack the baby. This seems to be the "chromosome clash" that the gynecologist mentioned.

If I'm right (and it's not a small IF), this condition will not affect your ability to conceive. That may be caused by something else. Also, the problem rarely occurs with the first birth, but only with subsequent births -- usually the baby's blood only gets into the mother's blood at birth. They have a shot to prevent the mother from developing antibodies so future babies are not at risk. In your case, I guess the baby's blood got into your blood earlier in the pregnancy.

My blood group is be negative and my fiancé have be positive please would you like to tell me can I conceive baby as early and also can I conceive more than one or two babies...
