I read two books as a teenager in the 80's. They were set in England, a girl moves into her brother's house (think he is the county local police officer). Think her name may be Jennifer. She is in a field relaxing either reading or drawing and a young man comes across her. He is a rockstar and is staying in a local mansion. He invites her round and she goes. He forces himself upon her when he is drunk and wants her. He has a band mate who is jealous of the relationship that begins to form after the first terrible initial encounter. If I remember she falls in love with him. Think it was written by a man but cannot be sure. Can anyone help, does it sound familiar?
