I have bleached my hair from brown to blonde maybe 3 times in my life.. In 2005 I decided to go back to brown because I got bored and also because my hubby wanted me to be brunette to see how I look like. Anyway, I noticed that as soon as I was back to brunett I didn't get so much attention as I did when I was a blonde... lol.. I guess you can say that blondes get more attention.. I stayed a brunett till 2007 when I decided to bleach my hair back to blonde-the hair stylist told me that my hair was really damaged and to not go back to a darker color cause if I decide to bleach my hair once more it might fall off..
Once again, I decided to change my hair color but this time dye it full black-I dyed my hair again in 2008.. Ive been with my black hair since but now I want to do something different and maybe either go back to blonde or do some highlights... Iam kind of scared to bleach my hair once again what should I do? Should I wait a little bit longer till my roots grow longer or is it OK to lighten my hair without having it fall off during the process? Any suggestion?

Whether your hair will break is a function only of the damage that it's accumulated. Waiting will help the roots grow, but it won't help the ends.

ColorFix, Color Oops, Color Zap or a comparable color remover can get out the black dye. After that, you still have to bleach and tone.
