    Working as a Waitress
If I got hired as a waitress at a restaurant, what would happen if I refused to pick up my tips off the tables because I feel I don't deserve them? Where would the money go? I would still take my regular paycheck, though.

Are you getting paid below minimum wage? Why would you take a waitressing job if you didn't want the tips? This job is really not enjoyable, and if it weren't for the tips, I don't know many that would do it.

What would happen, people would think you are stupid, a co worker will be glad to steal it from you or the bus boy or the next customer will be forced to deal with it.

It is part of your pay, if you are such a bad waitress that you don't deserve a tip, take it and give it to a charity or a homeless person as you leave.

Since most waitress jobs ( the ones that even pay) only pay 2 to 4 dollars a hour and your tips are suppose to balance out to min wage at least.

I would say if you have issues with this, you either
    1. need to find another line of work
    2. do a good enough job to earn tips

But if you are doing a bad job don't worry people will complain to the manager and not give a tip anyway
