I have a maytag neptune washer that shows a display code hr. We just had the control panel replaced a couple of months ago. Does anyone know what the hr means and how to fix the problem? Just for the record I will never buy another Maytag appliance. Our washer is not even 6 years old.

Hubby worked for Maytag. Try this first: unplug your machine for 15 minutes. Plug back in, should reset to factory standards. This actually worked for my mothers Maytag.

We won't buy another Maytag/Whirlpool either. But its personal. Whirlpool bought out Maytag in several locations so they could SHUT them down! Put a lot of people out of work.
