    I got my period back!
    Hey everyone who responded to me about my irregular period. As you may know I have not had a period for a year and a half,but on April 30 I finally got it back and I'm having the worst cramps ever.so I just wanted to know what I can do to minimize them... also I just wanted to thank everyone for their help andsupport...

    Now to answer the OPs question:

    Call your Dr. and once you have had a checkup to rule out cysts or fibroids that could be the root of the problem, they may be willing to prescribe a stronger pain reliever for you than what you can buy over the counter.

    Exercise is a great way to loosen the muscles and relieve some of the cramping.

    If you're in too much pain to exercise, try a heating pad or hot water bottle.
