    Online Law certificate course
    Hello,

I am interested to take few certificate courses online in field of law and paralegal. But, I have heard that they are not ABA granted and the future employer will not be pleased with this in your resume. Also, As I am on H4 visa, I am not eligible to apply for financial aid if I take on-campus courses. Is this True?

Kindly, suggest me the way to cope up with this, as I am interested in studying US law, does certificate courses (6-8 months) qualify me to change my status from H4 to F1?

    Very Thanks

I think Phoenix is suppose to be good but
You need to ask if their credits are transferable if you want to further your education.
Someone just posted here that Kaplan pushes that they are accredited but then they found out afterwards that they could not transfer their credits to another school.
Kaplan is suppose to be one of the better law schools too.

The only state that allows correspondence study for law is California and they are not ABA approved. But then many state law schools that are good are not ABA approved either.

With the online schools you can only take the California bar exam

Kaplan is a good one, but there are others. Look at their pass/ fail rate on the first year law exam and the bar exam both.
