How soon can I see results?
Okay so I used to overweight. Then I got married... got depressed and ended up eating one meal a day. Within a few months I went from 180 to 126. It was an insane weight loss... I wasn't starving myself I just was hardly ever hungry. So I got divorced blah blah and met my fiancée and we had a daughter. She is 3 now. When I got pregnant I was no more then 130. (I am 5'7 by the way) as soon as I saw that I was pregnant... I ate ate and ate. Whatever I wanted whenever I wanted because I could I guess. Well when I went in for my first appt I was 160. The dr never believed I was 130 prior to conceiving since I guess I should have gained maybe 5 pounds max in the first trimester but I ate terribly. So the day I went in to give birth I was 220 lbs! I was ALL stomach of course. Well over the first year.. I got down to about 155. I wasn't very happy I still wanted to firm up. Well I kind of let go I guess and now I am at 170. I am so unhappy being overweight! I mean I can wear clothes that can cover it up and I really don't look THAT heavy since I am tall... but I would love to be able to look in th e mirror and not see flab! (sorry it is long felt I needed to give a little insight to my life) (I am 24 years old by the way)
Well I gave up cokes earlier this year and drank ONLY water... (I used to drink ONLY cokes and never water! ) Well it was very hard... but I adapted and now I don't like how cokes taste. Well except the very occasional sprite. But anyway... that didn't make me lose ANYTHING! Aww I get so disapointed. Then I tried the special k diet... that lasted almost 2 weeks... but I didn't lose anything. I love all the food that is bad for me! I can't force myself to eat like a rabbit! I also have arthritis so a lot of exercises are hard / impossible for me to do. I like to walk but I can only walk so much without being in pain. So I got this exercise video that has 3 different 10 minute workouts. So for almost 2 weeks now I have been doing 10 minutes of kickboxing every morning. I do 25 sit ups when I get out of bed. I just gave up candy bars... hopefully I can stick with that... so far so good. Well I weighed myself when I started and I just weighed myself today... I haven't lost anything! Not even a pound. So my question is how long until I can see results? Am I actually going to get results doing what I am doing? I am going to add walking at night for about 15 minutes. But what else can I do to get results? I am so unhappy! Can 10 minutes of kickboxin in the morning really be effective? I enjoy it so it is easy for me 2 stick to. Plus I hardly have time so a long workout is not reasonable. I was thinking about trying detox pills... do those work? Is there a certain part of day I should exercise? I exercise the moment I get up in the morning before I get ready. IS that okay?
