Are there any long term health issues related to getting eyeliner in eyes?
    Hi all!!
I always put eyeliner on my water line because it looks bad otherwise, but I'm just wondering if I should stop or be worried about my eye health?

I'm also more talking about liquid eyeliner because it hurts a lot afterwards.
    Thanks.

If you mean 'water line' as inside your lower eyelid, I would desist from applying any kind of eyeliner in that area, especially if you say it hurts afterwards. If it hurts, then it it is doing harm. Why don't you just 'dot' the black eyeliner along your lower lash line ?

That's a great point. Along the lash line creates the same effect as your lowerlid and actually makes the eye appear larger, which is the purpose of eyeliner. If you really like the look please use regular pencil liner on your bottom lid. Liquid eyeliner is not designed for your bottom eyelid. Does your eyeliner have a caution warning about getting it in your eyes? I don't know if there is any long term vision effects of doing this, but if it hurts, STOP.
