I want to know if there is a statue of limitations on theft property in the 1st in Alabama. I have a friend of mine who has a warrant from 2002 and just now found out about it.

The statute of limitations limits the time the cops have to CHARGE somebody with a crime. Once charged, and a warrant issued, the statute of limitations is moot, and the warrant lasts forever.
