    Ousting the disrespectful kids
I have 2 adult children (19 & 21). Neither work full time, both refuse to pay room & board
They do not follow house rules, feel they can come and go and do what ever they please. They are loud and very disrespectful to me in my home. Can I legally kick them to the curb? I love my kids and this will kill me, but so will taking their abuse. We reside in NJ.
Thanks for the words of wisdom.

You can. You will probably need to legally evict them as you would a renter though.

Serve them with a 30 day written notice to leave. If they do not comply, go to court and have them legally evicted. If they continue to refuse to leave, the sheriff (or local equiv.) will remove them.

There may be less involved procedures in your area. You can check with a lawyer or legal aid, but this is a catch all answer that should serve your purposes.
