I bought (downloaded) blue ware "monitoring" software in order to monitor my child's texting, travel, and phone calls. I have a Verizon LG Voyager. It seems not to accept and downloads. When I hook it to my computer to transfer files, it just allows it as a modem, not a file drive to transfer files from the laptop. Do I need a Smartphone for this application. I want to be able to monitor my child's activities from my phone. This software is suppose to allow it. Help I am not that techie?

The supported operating systems should be covered in the applications documentation.

LG use an OS called BREW.
Normally applications of this type require either windows mobile or Symbian.

Did you get your BlueWare to work? I am having the same problem. My son thinks it is the carrier Verizon who will not allow the program to work.

OmGosh you should get them a kajeet there like 60$ or something but you can moniter were they are who they text and more they are great for kids and they come in pink blue black and there sprint phones there pretty good for what I think your looking for

The software compatibility is determined by the phone, not the carrier. There is a compatibility list found on our website.

As mentioned above, most Verizon phones use the BREW platform (rather than the needed JAVA platform); so most of the phone models they distribute are BREW-enabled phones. However, not ALL Verizon phones are BREW-enabled. Some Verizon NOKIAs and Blackberries use the JAVA platform.
