I moved into a house with 3 other roommates in jan. I had to move out in August because I found out I was pregnant. I am still paying my rent owed until the end of the lease year (jan.1st). Only one of the roommates names is on the actual lease but we split the security into 1/4ths. They are staying in the house and renewing the lease. Is there anyway I could get my 1/4th of the security ($597)? Any help is appreciated!!

If you find a new roommate for them and he puts up his 1/4th. Otherwise, you're still a tenant - till the end of YOUR lease. And your lease expires at the end of the year.

60 days before that time, inform your roommates (in writing, please), that at the end of your obligation, you won't be renewing. If they wish to renew, they'll have to do it as a threesome, and between the three of them, they need to reimburse your for your deposit.

If they don't, sue them all.
