Recently found out I am 6 weeks, 3 days Pregnant and now I am spotting brown
So about a week ago I took a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant. I took the test as a joke, well the jokes on me. Regardless I'm super excited now and my boyfriend is crazy with joy as well.
To confirm the pregnancy I took three more tests ( I know, probably could have just done one more but I just wanted to make sure.) Last night however, I went to the bathroom (peeing frequently is my new hobby) and when I wiped there was blood on the tissue and I noticed blood on my underwear. I knew I wasn't starting my period or anything, but it was a brownish color, not bright red or any red really. It didn't last 10 minutes and it wasn't a lot of blood. I took a shower this morning and there was a little bit still up there but an even darker color and it was mucus like.
It's only been a week since I've found out but I'm already attached to this baby and I just want to get some answers. All the doctors I've talked to about coming in to see, they say I have to wait until I'm 12 weeks to see the doctor and be examined. Does this qualify me for an early visit maybe?

Do you have a gynocologist that you see regularly? If so, call immediately and explain your situation. If you do not already have a doctor, find one today. If you are unable to get an appointment, go to Planned Parenthood or the emergency room.

Hi congrats on your pregnancy, am 9 weeks pregnant with my third baby, I think you shoud see your doctor for a routine cheack as soon as you can but I know that most will say its normal to have brown discharge when your only early on it should only be worring if the bloody is bright red and you get bad cramping, but sound all normal to me good luck and hope you mind is at ease soon x

You can ask if they will see you sooner, but it is not uncommon to have spotting early on. As was said, it usually it not a concern unless it were to become red, heavier, or you had cramping. (some minor cramping, as if your period was about to come on can also be normal however). Give your doctor's office a ring and see what they say.

I appreciate all of your answers and tomorrow I'm going to see my doctor and get to the bottom of all this because the bleeding has gotten a bit worse now :( I'm anxious and worried and just want everything to be okay.
    I'll keep you all posted.

There is nothing that is written in stone that you need to wait.If you are becoming increasingly concerned, there is always the option of visiting an emergency room.

So I found out yesterday that I miscarried. And I'm experiencing a pain like no other, this was going to be my first child and I've never felt contractions before but now I know what they feel like and I don't even get the gift you're supposed to get once the contractions stop for good. I guess it wasn't my time to become a mom. Thank you for all your responses I really appreciate it.
