Will a fridge freezer produce black soot when slowly breaking down? Its still working but getting louder but we have blck soot behind fridge freezer on tiles and black soot around house.. look forward to hearing from you x

Black soot is bad, that is not a slowly breaking down type think. Ever heard that expression where there is smoke there is fire? Your fridge needs to be unplugged and repaired.
