    Civil recovery
I was caught shoplifting, I am 23 and this was the first and last time I did something like this. When they checked my record everything was OK, I am a good student and this was the stupid thing to do. The mall's security gave me a NOTICE PROHIBITING ENTRY for 1 YR. They called police and they took informations about me (not report) and they let me go. I have no criminal record.
The police officer just took my name and I didn't give my finger prints or anything. He didn't press charges.
This was at The Bay, and I returned thing, they told me that they are not going to press charges, but they will, if this happens again, or if I come to the store or mall in 1 yr.

I also receive "Civil recovery" letter and I pay $500.00.

Does this information still shows on police information? Even if I do not have a criminal record (they told me I do not, but this is a warning).

I would like to know if can i travel to US or Europe???? Who can see those things about me, if I apply for job??

    Thank You

There's no reason that you can't travel. No job is going to run a check on you and see that on anything.

P.S. Civil matter are handled within a completely different system then criminal. The "civil" matter that arose from "criminal" actions will not be handled in a criminal system.
