I live in Will County, Illinois. I have been on probation for 5 years on a drug charge. I have a great job offer in the state of California for the next 6 or 7 months. Once in the past I also left the state for a job in another state and got in trouble for not reporting it. I talked to my probation officer regarding this matter and she told me the only way to be able to accept this job is to ask the judge for an early termination. I have no idea how to go about doing this or if this is even a possibility. Time is of the essence here as the employer needs me to start in the next 7 days.

PO lied, you can request a transfer of your probation to move to the other state.

You won't get a transfer in no 7 days either. It will take awhile to arrange - more like months versus days. Check at the top of the criminal board for how to transfer probation.
