    What about abandonment?
Are there abandon laws for a minor child in the state of Tennessee?

Yes, if you leave a child without any adult supervisions, you can be prosecuted criminally.

But I suspect that's not the situation. Abandonment is a very misunderstood issue. If you explain your situation we can probably advise further.

Depends on how abandonment is defined.

CRIMINAL ABANDONMENT is a crime - obviously. The definition of abandonment varies from State to State, Court to Court in some jurisdictions.

Leaving a child home alone and leaving a child unattended at a bus stop, for example, are two different things.
