Can I as a landlord send the 3 day pay or quit form via first priority mail or do I need to serve the tenant . Rent was due on the first of may we are on may 4 . What is the right way to send this form? Thanks!

That depends on where you are. You may have to hire a process server to serve it. Or you may be able to do it by mail or in person.
