You will need about 60,000 btu's of heat. I would install a 2 ton heatpump with a 15 kw aux heat element. You will probably have to get a 2 1/2 ton blower to get a 15 kw installed most 2 tons only will take a 10 kw

You need to know where the house is located how many widows how well your how's is insulated and sealed there are many more varriables than just sq ft are there trees shading your house ext if your house is in the open and is exposed to the sun all day do you have window treatments what type of windows do you have how thick is your attic insulation these all can take your tonage up or down

need to have someone do a manual j or heat load calculation on the house. Call a local contractor. Most will do this and give estimates for free.
there are way to many variables for someone to just say such and such ton. In Arizona you might need a 3 ton, in Colorado maybe a 2 ton. Also depends on house construction, windows, placement, and many other things.

Yes,yes, yes,, to the manuel J calculation
Anything else is just a guess,, a good professional hvac man wouldn`t guess, not knowing all the facts as to tell you with not enough info what size you need
