Replace BDP standard thermostat with Honewell RTH230B
I would like to replace a old BDP 7 wire model # 3AA TB208B1 thermostat connected in the following manner with a 5 wire Honeywell RTH230B thermostat

    Old Wiring Configuration:

    L - Black Wire
    R - Red
    O - Orange
    G1 - Green
    Y - Yellow
    C - Blue
    W2 - wire
    E- Jumped with W2

The new thermostat have ta following options for a 5 wire connections:

    Rc
    Rh
    W
    Y
    G

    I have a York AC/ Heating System model no # N2AHD14A06NGA ( Air Handler)
And model no # G+HCO42AA. I believe they are as old as the house which I 1982. I do not have any manuals on these equipment.

    Can someone please tell me

    1) If I can use the Honeywell RTH230B thermostat to replace the Old Thermostat? If not than which one is compatible with the wiring configuration above.
    2) If so what wire should go in where.

This is not a compatible t-stat. you will need a 2 heat t-stat to do what you are needing. Honey well 5000 2 heat 2 cool stat will work fine.

You need a heat pump thermostat.

Any heat pump thermostat with one stage cooling and two stage heat. You will not need to use the black wire(L) with the new thermostat.
