Why is there no cold water coming out of my shower/faucet? Cold water is okay to the sink in the same bathroom...

If this is the only fixture with no cold awter I would suspect a plugged cold inlet on the cartridge. Open up the valve and pull the cartridge and clean it. I would also cover the valve body with the cartridge still pulled and then turn the water on/off really quick to blow out the lines, cover tightly with a towel.
