Can you help me with information about credit reports? I just received a credit report and it has bad debts I never knew about, accounts I never had, and doctor bills that were supposed to be covered by insurance. How do I get this straightened out, I don't even know where to start.

Any accounts that you think are errors, you write to the credit bureau telling them these are incorrect listings and ask they be immediately removed.

For the medical bills you need to check with your insurance. If they have been paid send a letter to t5he credit bureau with proof of payment and ask they be removed.

For any debts that are yours you have to approach the creditors and arrange for a settlement which will then remove the entries.
