I'm not sure what the proper name for these are, but the people in my are call them this. There is a bump sort of thing in a tiny part of my bangs right by the crown, causing a little piece of my hair to always stick out. Dose anyone know what I'm talking about or am I just a freak of nature, lol. Anyway, I was hoping for some tips on keeping it down, or if I grew it out would it go away?

I have adouble crown which is the biggest pain in the butt.

I have the physically hold the hair down at my crown and blow dry it to get it to stay down... If I lay down or lean my head against anything it is all undone and it sticks back out again.

You could try drying it this way then applying a little hairspray or using a mousse.
