Me and my business partner are just starting our commercial cleaning business. We have everything together except the part where we find businesses who are accepting bids. How do we go about finding this?
One way is to look in the newspapers publication for bids on jobs/construction or other business
Follow that lead and find out who the General bidders are for a project. They will need to plug in a "cleaning" submittal/bid and adding it with their over all bid.
Look for a new business opening up and that's another way.
After the construction cleanup bid on a small commercial job hang in there and meets the owners to keep as a customers. You already have your foot in the door cleaning up the structure on the get go.
It's a show up cold call. If you find a General Contractor to get on there bid list is one big way.
Or you have someone on the phone for 8 plus hours a day, calling business after business,
You have people go door to door tryiing to get business

I believe this is your second thread on the same subject matter about finding bidding opportunities and bidding... am I correct? I just responded to your other thread.
