    Linear functions
Is anyone willing to help me figure this out please? I'm completely lost. Thanks
In 1992 the life expectancy of males in a certain country was 72.5 years. In 1997 it was 75.3 years. Let E represent the life expectancy in year t and let yeaar t represent the number of years since 1992.
Use the function to predict the life expectancy of males in 2004?
    E(12)

They're just asking you to find the equation of a line given two sets of data points.

    Let 1992 be 0, then 1997 will be 5.

    You have (0,72.5) and (5, 75.3).

Use this to find the equation of the line, then plug in x=12.

    Because 2004-1992=12.
