Husqvarna riding tractor flooding, won't start
My Husqvarna (YTH145) riding mower is flooding, when I take spark plug out, a cup of gas pours out, I was told at dealer, needs a new carburetor, is there any fix I can do? Clearly getting too much gas in motor, this happened after winter storage... first startup! Machine is 10 yrs old

I doubt it's a new carb here at all. Since it sat over winter the float stuck which pivots and operates the needle valve that goes in the seat to shut off the gas to the carb bowl. I would get in the carb and check or dirt in the carb and stuck float. The added ethanol in gas now is gumming up the works.

Second of all a rebuilt kit can be bought for that carb and save some money.

So clean out bowl and check needle seat and float working freely. It fairly basic.

I found a manual for that tractor don't know what engine you have. Hears a vid on how to find the correct numbers to get parts if need be

Hello, this is me again, took a week. Took the carb. Off twice and cleaned it good, but, in the end, it was the carb, but all the "flooded" gas went into the crankcase, had to drain the oil. (which was loaded with gas) and put new oil in--------took off, runs like new... thank you
